Wenatchee, Washington

Heather is a dear friend of mine, and I got to meet her husband, Joe & their two sweet children during this trip home. Her & I had tried during several other trips to get together for family photos and it finally worked out. I am SO happy that it did because I don't think we could have had a more beautiful evening if we tried to. The sky was mostly cloudy, which provided for even lighting all around and the balsamroot was just beginning to pop up in the foothills.

Hometown sessions like this are some of my favorites. Simple, nostalgic & timeless.
